In order to explore the correlation of poverty levels and ecosystem service value (ESV), we analyzed the spatial correlation between poverty incidence and ESV based on the data of land use and the poverty incidence in Guizhou Province in 2010 by using the GoeDa model and ArcGIS software. The results showed that there was the positive correlation between poverty incidence and ESV. High value of poverty incidence had higher ESV. Moran index between poverty incidence and average ESV was higher than Moran index between poverty incidence and total ecosystem service value (TESV). High—high correlation was found in southeast part. Low—low correlation was observed in middle part. High—low correlation existed in west part. The different spatial patterns of social-economic level and land use structure are the main reasons for resulting in the different spatial correlation between poverty incidence and ESV.
