- Abstract:
- The ecological degradation has not only restricted regional economic development but also greatly affected the economy and social development for the middle and east China and even the whole country.Ecological degradation greatly affected urbanization in west China.From the analysis of current situation of lag and contradictions in the processes of urbanization,it can be found that the difficulties and problems in west urbanization are significant interactive,which further result in a vicious circle for aggregation ecological effect and aggregation economy,i.e.the vicious circle for proverty,population growth and environmental degradation.Furthermore,this vicious circle should be replaced by a new development model with better operation mechanism in order to enhance urbanization for west China.
