- Now, rainfall frequency analysis is used commonly to determine probability of irrigation water requirement, and to choose typical years for irrigation project design during the plan and design of the land consolidation.This method doesn’t consider the rainfall distribution sufficiently, but the results of frequency analysis of net irrigation requirement can make up for these disadvantages and are valid.
