- Abstract:

The dynamic change of soil water of 5 island cottons was studied.The results show that there are distinct difference in soil water content and water use efficiency among different varieties.The layer of the most high soil water content is 80~100 cm, while the most lower layer is 0~20 cm.The rule change related with root.New sea 21 are varieties which can save water effeciently, so they have advantage in arid and semi-arid region.
