- Metropolitan agriculture, which is a new agriculture meets the multi-level needs of urban residents, economic, social and ecological development, comes into being in the process of urbanization.It extends in scale and functions, enriches in connotation.The feature of metropolitan agriculture is different in different country and area.Basing on the successful experience of urban agriculture abroad, the developmental scheme for Nanchang’s agriculture is put forward form aspects of developmental orientation, function zoning and government’s role etc.
