- Abstract:
- With the test of Veliveria zizanioides(L.) Nash’s ability for soil and water conservation,it was planted on reservoir slope,stone pit slope and two same fields without any plants in Shenzhen.It does very well in soil and water conservation.The result is that it can protect soil from losing by 72.05% in the first year and 90.45% in the second year on the reservoir slope.It also can protect soil from losing by 68.9% in the first year and 90.6% in the second year on the slope of stone pit.That means it is a perfect plant for soil and water conservation.
