It is significant to monitor and renovate the water environment of Huizhou Xihu for a long time that applying modern high-new technologies manages the information scientifically and high-efficiently.This study analyzes the design rules,system structure,database construction,system functions,etc.On the basis,regarded COM GIS-SuperMap as the platform,the Huizhou Xihu water environment management information system is developed.The key techniques include GIS,database,object oriented technique,etc.This system set up the database based on space figure information and attribute information of the water environment of Huizhou Xihu.Relying on relative analysis models and evaluation models,the change of the water environment is analyzed and predicted vividly,which can offer the scientific decision for leaders.
