- Taking Fang County in Hubei Province as a test area and by the support of the grid module of ARC/INFO geographic imformation system, the terrain factor in soil erosion was analysed from the 1:25 DEM which was expressed by grid.And then,the map of slope, aspect and terrain can be drawn and the data of terrain can be finished. Last, according to the charcateristic of the terrain factor,the soil erosion amount in Fang County can be predicted.
