Yanma Reservoir is the biggest reservoir of Zaozhuang, and also one of the ten biggest reservoirs of Shandong Province, which plays an important role in irrigation, flood control, generation, aquaculture and some other aspects.Influenced by the economic activities of habitants nearby, the water quality of Yanma Reservoir to some degree appears eutrophication, which has a negative impact on operation of its function as the sustainable development of the reservoir economy.The harness of this situation should be guided by ecological theory.Directing at the eutrophication mechanism and its developing tendency, the author comes up with a specific improving method and an effective solution to the harmonious development between reservoir economy and society.
