Remote sensing technology, by which the soil moisture magnitude of large region can be estimated, is a new method.Several remote sensing models of soil moisture and methods to derive land surface parameters from remoted sensing data, which are applied widely at home and abroad, are analyzed, and the relationship between them with their characteristics are delineated.
