- There is serious soil erosion in hilly land of the south area in Ningxia.As a result of the bad natural environment and others social environment, such as deviation of value choosing and over-grazing, over-reclamation, fast increasing population, and sharp men-land contradiction, the ecological environment of this area become worse.So it is important to restore and rebuild the ecological environment by strengthening consciousness of preserving agriculture ecological environment, adjusting industrial structure, controlling amount of population, improving the quality of population, and carrying out soil and water conservation measures.
