- Xinjiang makes up one sixth of the country land with serious arid, drift-sand, saline soil and desertification and soil erosion.To do well soil and water conservation is the basis of realizing the regional economy and social development.Based on spot investigation and material concerned, the reasons of soil erosion are analyzed and prevention and control measures are discussed.
