Using the basic theory and method of landscape ecology on a case study in lower reaches of the Minjiang River, the indices of diversity index, evenness, dominance, isolation, fragmentation and fractal dimension are used to analyze spatial pattern of landscape in the region under the supporting of study on ARC/INFO and ENVI. And landscape change is analyzed from 1995 to 2000.
