Coarse sand in the Yellow River mainly comes from sand rock area,Inner Mongolia,water erosion,wind erosion and gravitational erosion occur interactively in this area.Based on observed data from three experimental basins in 1983~1997,the temporal and spatial distribution law of erosive interaction is analyzed.Through the analysis of characteristics of physic-chemistry and sediment yield produced by erosion in the area,the result show that the capacity of runoff and sediment yield of sand rock area is higher than that of local loess and wind-sandy soil.Finally.A model of water erosion in the area is established,and the process of hydraulic erosion is simulated also.
