Abstract:: The scope,geographic location,climatic features of Loess Plateau and its shelter forest are introdued here.According to the data,the authors elaborate the function of shelter forest on conserving soil and water,wind prevention,increasing yield,improving soil and the culture of fertilizer,and the role of shelter forest on eco environmental construction and disaster prevention.
