Soil erosion,as a global problem, can be caused and impacted by many factors.Human activities aggravated the soil erosion, and a number of impacts of recreation on soil erosion were appearing with the development of tourism. The authors summarize the recreational activities and recreation infrastructure that negatively impact on soil erosion, and discuss that heavily used recreational sites have significantly higher impacts on erosion than moderate and light use areas, and give the impact modeling of recreation on erosion. The management policies of soil and water conservation are provided for recreation sites.
