- With rapid city development, soil and water losses and its potential dangers become more and more serious. After Fuling region was awarded as the ecological environment construction demonstration city of the whole country in 1997, the related departments have coordinated with each other, and implemented enforcing the law of water and soil conservation seriously and closely combined soil and water conservation with old city region transformation and its city construction. As a result, the city ecological environment obtained obvious improvement.
