- Using long series of data of experimental observation,this paper in detail analyzed the economic benefit and the effect of soil and water conservation through the comparisons between slope cropland and terraced field. The results provide reliable theoretical data for scientific programming in the control and development of small watershed.

作者简介:孟庆法，男。1957年10月生。工程师，1980年毕业于江苏省扬州水利学校。现在江苏省赣榆县水利局从事农田水利与水土保持工作，参与的“丘陵山区小流域综合治理开发技术研究”课题，获省科技进步三等奖、江苏省水利科技进步一等奖。1994年11月获中国水土保持学会首局青年科技奖，发表论文l0多篇。
