四川省位于长江上游,水土流失面积约20万km2,占全省幅员面积的41.3%,占长江上游水土流失面积的56.6%,是长江上游以至全国水土流失最严重的地区。全省现有96.5万hm2尚未改变的5~25°坡耕地,既是四川省水土流失的重要侵蚀源,也是今后粮食最大增产潜力之所在。为实现2005年退耕还林后仍保持年人均400kg粮食的水平,必须对现有坡耕地进行综合治理,在改善农业生态环境的同时,提高水土资源利用率。本文从坡改梯关键技术、微水工程、防蚀耕作法、覆盖技术

Sichuan province is situated on the upper reaches of Yangtze river. The soil erosion area of Sichuan is about 200 000 km2, accounting for 41.3% of the total area of Sichuan and 56.6% of the soil erosion area of the upper reaches of Yangtze river, is the most serious soil erosion area not only in the upper reaches of Yngtze river but even in the whole country. 965 000 hm2 525 sloping land in the whole province is waiting to be improved, which is both main erosion source of soil and water loss and the area with the largest potential of grain production from now on in Sichuan. To keep 400 kg grain per capital after afforestation of steep sloping land for erosion in 2005, we must manage the sloping land comprehensively, besides agricultural ecological environment, we must promote utilization ratio of water. Based on practical situation of sloping land of Sichuan, the author studied key techniques of terracing, miniature water conservancy, farming with soil and water conservation, mulch cultivation etc.
