- Niche theory is an important theory of ecology.The author firstly puts forward some concepts about cultivated land ecounit and cultivated land niche, and expounds its object, essence, types, chatacteristic and development law based on niche theory.Finally, cultivated land niche mathematical model is established including cultivated land niche, expansion-reduction-degree, niche quotient and quantity niche barycenter, which provides new theory and ways for the study on the change in the quantity and quality of cultivated land.
